There are striking parallels between the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) investigation of the destruction of TWA Flight 800, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) investigation of the destruction of WTC structures 1, 2, and 7.
The method of these investigations is to formulate the desired
conclusion, and then work backward by manipulating the
investigation to arrive at the desired
conclusion. This is accomplished by common elements including disregard and/or removal and/or destruction
of evidence, discounting of eye witness reports, generation of misleading computer simulations, and “snowing” the
outside world with thousands of pages
of irrelevant information.
Some parallels have been published in at least one article on the internet:

An attempt is being made to “Reinvestigate” the
destruction of TWA Flt 800. TWA Flight 800, a Boeing 747, exploded over Long
Island in 1996, killing all 230 on board. See:

The
NIST and NTSB
studies are
consistent with a long standing and well documented pattern of Administration
abuse of the scientific method.
The
House Committee on Government Reform found, in a report to Rep Henry Waxman, "numerous
instances where this Administration has manipulated the scientific process and
distorted or suppressed scientific findings."

On February 18, 2004, over 60
leading scientists, including Nobel laureates, signed a Union of Concerned
Scientists’ statement that
"The distortion of scientific knowledge for partisan political ends must
cease." Since then, over 15,000 additional

Public education on the magnitude of
corruption of the scientific method in government investigations, as sketched
above, might help increase the traction for all of us who want truth.
