On 6 September 2024, while observing in the West Bank, Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi was murdered by an IDF sniper.

SJM8014 has passed the Washington State Senate. This joint memorial calls for a full and impartial investigation into the IDF’s murder of Seattle peace activist Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi in the West Bank. It had strong support.
